The first Sunday of June, 2008 the First Congregational Church of Blandford held their CCCC Sunday with an emphasis on being Connected In Christ. The First Congregational Church of Blandford doesn’t have a vision of starting any new churches over the next few years, but Connected in Christ to the CCCC we have a vision for starting several.  For the next couple of years FCC of Blandford has no plan of personally assisting any struggling churches, but Connected in Christ to the CCCC we are already working with about 30 with more waiting.  Our small church can’t afford to send thousands of dollars to the CCCC home office, but Connected in Christ with other CCCC churches we can.

As a small church we can’t do much but we would like to do what we can. So each member of our little church was challenged to give just $5. So we took up a special $5 Challenge offering and we raise $200. That really doesn’t amount to much.  But if each member of every CCCC church did that Connected in Christ we would raised over $200,000. 

What our little church in Blandford, MA wants to do is to connect with the other CCCC churches to make a difference. We want to challenge every member of every CCCC church to give just $5 each.  If you want to give more that’s fine, but we want you to at least give $5.
