Theological education is a high priority in the CCCC. Whether you're searching for a Bible College or Seminary to begin your formal theological studies, or you are already an ordained minister considering alternatives for continuing education, the CCCC offers several options to our members.
Formal Seminary Partnerships
While the CCCC does not have a seminary of its own, we are working hard to build formal partnerships with several seminaries around the United States that are not only theologically like minded, but are also compatible with the diversity of our Conference family, which is made up of so many different traditions and backgrounds. The following are schools with which we have partnered, providing a multitude of different programs for you to peruse. Each of these schools also has a regular CCCC presence on campus, and offers the CCCC Congregational Standards course.
-
Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (http://www.gcts.edu/) - while our partnership includes all GCTS campuses and the online program, our on campus mentoring presence and Congregational Standards course is currently limited to the South Hamilton, Massachusetts location.
-
Westminster Theological Seminary (http://www.wts.edu/) - our partnership with Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadephia, Pennsylvania includes a Congregational track in both their online and on campus programs from a Reformed perspective.
-
Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (http://www.teds.edu) - our newest partnership is with Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois and includes several tracks in their on campus program.

New CCCCC Denominational Standards Course
Our new CCCC Denominational Standards Course, featuring our teacher, Pastor Nick Granitsas, is a valuable resource for our conference. More than a requirement for seminary students seeking ordination in the CCCC, it is also recommended for pastors transferring into the Conference, providing them a helpful orientation to Congregational history and polity. The course lends itself to a variety of other applications, providing a refresher for seasoned Congregationalists and a wealth of information for educating those new to the CCCC. We are working with the publisher to make the course available for purchase. Currently, the course is available at the Gordon-Conwell Semlink website. The CCCC Denominational Standards Course, MC601H, can be accessed at: http://www.gordonconwell.edu/prospective_students/semlink_courses_division_ministry_church
Scholarships for Conference Care Students
Scholarships are available to both full and part-time Conference Care students who apply by the October 31 deadline. A letter of recommendation from one’s Conference Care Pastoral Advisor is part of that application requirement. Details and an application form are available by clicking onto this link.
Conference Historian
Alwyn York, our Conference Historian, provides historical articles in The Foresee from our Congregational heritage. He also can be of help to churches approaching an anniversary to provide assistance in making the most of that celebration.
