Lay ministry is a primary necessity in the life of the local church. The apostle Paul tells us that it is the job of those in leadership to "equip the saints" for works of service. In fact, it is only when the people fo the church are equipped and begin to do ministry of their own that the body will reach maturity (Ephesians 4:11-13).
The Lay Ministries Committee of the CCCC is here to encourage, equip and enhance the lay ministry of our member churches.
