World Ventures with the Tiners

Finally…BACK IN THE USA! THANK YOU FOR PRAYING! These past months of travel have been busy and bursting with blessing! Starting in South America, on to Egypt, Israel, Kenya, Austria and then back to California… what a trip! We have seen the Lord’s protection, guidance, fruit, and provision.

Our time in Austria was especially blessed: spending time with our son and family, meeting with friends and seeing obvious spiritual growth, sharing in the work of the Arab ministry, especially among the refugees, but the greatest highlight came our last weekend in Austria. Tim preached for two baptism services in Linz. The service on Saturday included a baptism of ex-Muslim refugees who had come to faith. What a powerful testimony! Tim was able to help baptize them. But the service also included Austrians who were also baptized and the entire service was an amazing visual of unity in Christ — from refugees, to an 86 year old Austrian woman, to an 11 year old…. all one in Christ! The worship also included German and Arabic songs. What a night!

From Austria we flew to California. We visited a church in central California and enjoyed a great time of sharing and fellowship, as well as met with another group of mission minded folks in southern CA.

The last “main event” of this trip took place when I was guest speaker at a beautiful Christmas Brunch in Carlsbad, CA for around 400 women. My message was: “Christmas Cheer or Fear — What’s Under YOUR Tree?” The message hit the mark, especially in light of the shootings in California just a few days previously. I felt the Holy Spirit was speaking and many women shared with me how touched they were. I [put my annual] Christmas poem to music and performed for the ladies.
